World Happy Day
World Happy Day is Saturday, Feb 11. Come join us for a screening of HAPPY the movie! For more info on the film, check out worldhappyday.com and/or happythemovie.com.
From award-winning film maker Roko Belic, “HAPPY combines cutting-edge science from the new field of “positive psychology” with real-life stories of people from around the world whose lives illustrate these findings.
We see the story of a beautiful woman named Melissa Moody, a mother of three who had a “perfect life” until the day she was run over by a truck. Disabled for nine years and disfigured for life, amazingly she is happier now than before her accident.
Manoj Singh, a rickshaw puller from the slums of Kolkata, India who lives in a hut made of plastic bags with his family, is found to be as happy as the average American. Through these and other stories HAPPY leads us toward a deeper understanding of how we can all live more fulfilling, healthy and happy lives.”
ALL are welcome for this viewing, and to unite with folks all across the country and world who will also be watching “HAPPY” the movie on World Happy Day, Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012.

From worldhappyday website: “World HAPPY Day inspires action for increasing happiness in our own lives and in the world. A growing body of research shows that happy people are healthier and live longer. They are more likely to care for the environment and less likely to commit crimes or go to war. Happy people helps others more often… and are more likely to find creative solutions. Increasing happiness benefits us as individuals and communities in infinite ways and is a goal worth sharing.”
Do you think only a “lucky few” on this earth get to be happy? Think again!
We ALL can take the reins of our happiness. It is a CHOICE, and a matter of retraining the brain to use its optimism center. Simple, yet profound, practices you can implement into your everyday life make HUGE and LASTING changes.
Happiness Clubs exist all over the country and world. The Happiness Club of Loves Park is FREE, OPEN TO ALL (happy, miserable, and anywhere in between), and there are no strings. I, Kelly Epperson-Local Joy Fairy, facilitate the meetings. We often have guest speakers, and we always have a lot of fun. Check it out. No cost, no obligation, and no one will call you.

Studies show that happier people attract better health, better relationships, better income, a better way of life. Health and love and money can’t buy happiness, but happiness can lead to health, love, and money. Why not give it a try?

This summer at Happiness Club has been wonderful. Each of the speakers, along with the activities, interaction, and passion for embracing our own state of being have enlightened me. Kelly’s message of happiness is contagous. Thank you, and all the H-clubbers that make each meeting a place of fun positive growth.
