“I feel it’s my sacred contract to write this book.”
“These lessons are too important not to share. I have to get them down and out into the world.”
“When I got my diagnosis, I immediately thought I have to write my stories!”
My clients come to me with different projects and different reasons. They want to share their message to help others. They want the story to be told. They want to heal and help others to heal.
They have a message, a mission, or a movement. They simply want, or need, to express.
Some want to make others laugh. Some want others to know they are not alone. Some want others to understand that life can be better.
There is power in the written word. Power for those who pen it, power for those who read it. I am the guide to help the process. I show you the power of you.
When I first started my business as a book coach, I thought my focus would be clients who want a book for their own business purpose. To get credibility, exposure and opportunities that come with being an author. Absolutely. My client base has expanded to include anyone who wants to write a book, be it for business and/or personal reasons. Some want to sell thousands of copies. Some want to give it away.
It does not matter what your purpose is, one is no more noble than another; it just matters that you understand your purpose. WHY do you want to write? WHY would anyone read it? WHY you? WHY now?
If you need help nailing your WHYs, let’s have a chat. Drop me a line at firstname.lastname@example.org to set up a time. I also invite you to join me for On the Page & On the Stage, a workshop I am doing with Catherine Johns where I can meet you in the flesh to help you on the path to publishing your book. We will cover a lot, and uncover a lot. If you have a desire to write, you will be moved to make it a reality. That is my gift, to make it doable for you. Get your seat here:
If you have the desire to write, follow that urge. Don’t squash. Unleash. Think about your why. Getting grounded in that clarity lays the foundation. If you are stuck, reach out for help. This matters to you. What you have to say matters. Don’t keep waiting. Let’s get you going. Talk to you soon!
